Key Responsibilities for Auditor:

- Identify financial discrepancies and anomalies, investigating root causes and proposing corrective actions
- Prepare audit reports detailing findings, conclusions, and recommendations for management review
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to implement audit recommendations and monitor progress
- Stay current on industry regulations and best practices to ensure audits are conducted in accordance with standards

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Professional designation such as CPA, CA, CIA, or CISA
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in auditing, preferably within the banking or financial services industry
- Strong knowledge of auditing principles, practices, and standards
- Proficiency in using audit software and Microsoft Office suite
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Desired Skills:
- Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Experience with data analytics and visualization tools
- Knowledge of Canadian banking regulations and industry trends
- Fluency in French and English
- Project management skills

Compensation & Benefits:
The annual salary range for the Auditor position at Desjardins Group in Quebec City, Quebec, Canada is between $60,000 to $80,000 CAD, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
