Position Summary:
As the Remote Diversity & Inclusion Manager at Mailchimp, you will play a pivotal role in driving our diversity and inclusion initiatives across the organization. Your focus will be on creating and implementing strategies to promote a diverse and inclusive work environment, fostering a sense of belonging for all employees, and championing equality in every aspect of our operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute diversity and inclusion programs and initiatives that align with Mailchimp's values and goals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate diversity and inclusion into all aspects of the business.
- Analyze data and trends to identify opportunities for improvement and track the effectiveness of diversity initiatives.
- Provide guidance and training to leaders and employees on diversity, equity, and inclusion best practices.
- Partner with external organizations to enhance Mailchimp's diversity and inclusion efforts.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Organizational Psychology, or related field.
- Proven experience in diversity and inclusion management, preferably in a remote work setting.
- Strong understanding of DEI best practices and current trends.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a virtual team environment.
Technical Requirements:
- Fully equipped home office with high-speed internet.
- Proficiency in remote collaboration tools like Slack, Zoom, and Google Workspace.
- Comfortable working in a remote-first environment with flexible working hours.
- Ability to accommodate occasional team meetings across different time zones.
Desired Skills:
- Certification in Diversity & Inclusion Management.
- Experience in developing and delivering DEI training programs.
- Familiarity with HR analytics and reporting tools.
- Strong project management skills for executing diversity initiatives.
- Ability to foster a sense of community and belonging in a remote team.
Compensation & Benefits:
Salary Range: $80,000 - $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
