Position Summary:
As a Remote UX/UI Designer at Upwork, you will play a crucial role in creating intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces for our platform. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design and optimize user experiences that drive engagement and enhance usability, all while enjoying the flexibility of remote work.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with product managers and developers to understand project requirements
- Design wireframes, mockups, and prototypes for web and mobile applications
- Conduct user research and usability testing to iterate on designs
- Ensure consistency in design across all platforms and devices
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in UX/UI design

Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a UX/UI Designer or similar role
- Strong portfolio showcasing design projects and processes
- Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, or Figma
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for remote team interactions
- Ability to manage time effectively and work independently in a remote setting

Technical Requirements:
- Dedicated home office setup with high-speed internet connection
- Proficient in using remote collaboration tools like Slack, Zoom, and Google Workspace
- Comfortable working in a flexible schedule with occasional team meetings in Pacific Time Zone

Desired Skills:

Compensation & Benefits:
We offer a competitive annual salary range of $70,000 - $90,000 for this remote position, commensurate with experience. In addition, we provide a home office stipend or equipment allowance, flexible working hours to accommodate different time zones, virtual onboarding process, remote team collaboration tools, virtual team building activities, and occasional travel opportunities for team meetups.
