Position Summary Coinbase is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Vice President of Sales – Account Management to lead and scale our Account Management organization. As a key member of the leadership team, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth through exceptional customer relationships, strategic account planning, and cross-functional collaboration. This is a fully REMOTE position, allowing you to work from anywhere in the United States. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute a comprehensive Account Management strategy aligned with Coinbase’s overall business objectives. Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing team of Account Managers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and customer obsession. Build and maintain strong relationships with key enterprise clients, understanding their business needs and providing tailored solutions. Identify and pursue opportunities for revenue expansion within existing accounts, including upselling, cross-selling, and new product adoption. Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, Product, and Engineering teams to ensure seamless customer experiences and drive product innovation. Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress against goals and identify areas for improvement. Conduct regular business reviews with key clients to assess satisfaction, identify opportunities, and address any concerns. Forecast accurately and manage the Account Management budget effectively. Represent Coinbase at industry events and conferences. Participate in virtual team-building activities and contribute to a positive remote work environment. Required Qualifications 10+ years of experience in Account Management, Sales, or a related field, with a proven track record of success in driving revenue growth. 5+ years of experience in a leadership role, managing and developing high-performing teams. Deep understanding of the cryptocurrency industry and the broader financial landscape. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment. Experience using CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and other sales tools. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field. Must be a U.S. resident and authorized to work in the United States. Technical Requirements As a fully remote employee, you will be responsible for maintaining a suitable home office environment that supports productivity and effective communication. Dedicated workspace free from distractions. High-speed internet connection with a minimum upload/download speed of 50 Mbps. Reliable computer and headset with microphone. Ability to participate in video conferences and virtual meetings. Must be able to work within standard US business hours. Some flexibility may be required to accommodate team meetings across different US time zones. Desired Skills Experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. Ability to thrive in a remote, distributed team setting. Compensation & Benefits The annual salary range for this REMOTE position is $250,000 - $350,000, commensurate with experience and location.
