Position Summary Robinhood is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Research Business Intelligence Analyst with strong statistical analysis skills to join our growing Business Intelligence team. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to work from anywhere in the United States. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for conducting in-depth data analysis, developing statistical models, and generating actionable insights to drive business decisions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product, engineering, marketing, and operations, to identify opportunities for improvement and contribute to the overall success of Robinhood. Key Responsibilities Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets from various sources to identify trends, patterns, and insights. Develop and maintain statistical models to predict user behavior, optimize marketing campaigns, and improve product performance. Design and implement A/B tests to evaluate the impact of product changes and marketing initiatives. Create clear and concise reports, dashboards, and presentations to communicate findings to stakeholders. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define business requirements and develop data-driven solutions. Conduct ad-hoc analyses to answer specific business questions and provide insights to support decision-making. Stay up-to-date on the latest trends and best practices in data analysis, statistical modeling, and business intelligence. Participate actively in virtual team meetings and contribute to a collaborative and supportive remote work environment. Required Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field. 3+ years of experience in data analysis, statistical modeling, or business intelligence. Strong proficiency in SQL and experience working with relational databases. Experience with statistical software packages such as R or Python (with libraries like Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn). Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and generate actionable insights. Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team environment. Proven ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively. Must be authorized to work in the United States. Technical Requirements To be successful in this remote role, you will need to meet the following technical requirements: A dedicated home office space free from distractions. A reliable high-speed internet connection with a minimum download speed of 50 Mbps and upload speed of 10 Mbps. A personal computer with sufficient processing power and memory to run necessary software. A webcam and headset for virtual meetings. Must be available to work during core business hours in the Pacific Time Zone (PT). Familiarity with remote collaboration tools such as Slack, Zoom, and Google Workspace. Desired Skills Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Looker. Experience with cloud-based data platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Azure. Knowledge of financial markets and the fintech industry. Experience with machine learning techniques. Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop or Spark. Compensation & Benefits The annual salary range for this position is $120,000 - $160,000, commensurate with experience and location.
