Position Summary
Toptal is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Performance Blog Manager to join our Brand Awareness team. In this fully REMOTE role, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive content strategy for our performance blog, aimed at driving brand awareness, generating leads, and establishing Toptal as a thought leader in the remote digital marketing industry. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and engineering, to ensure alignment and achieve business objectives. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a data-driven content strategy for the performance blog, aligned with Toptal's brand awareness goals.
- Conduct keyword research and competitive analysis to identify content opportunities.
- Manage the editorial calendar and ensure timely publication of high-quality blog posts.
- Collaborate with freelance writers, subject matter experts, and internal stakeholders to create engaging and informative content.
- Optimize blog content for search engines (SEO) and user experience.
- Promote blog content through various channels, including social media, email marketing, and paid advertising.
- Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of the content strategy.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest trends in remote digital marketing and content marketing.
- Manage the blog budget and ensure efficient allocation of resources.
- Maintain Toptal's brand voice and style guidelines across all blog content.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in content marketing, with a focus on blogging.
- Proven track record of driving brand awareness and generating leads through content marketing.
- Strong understanding of SEO principles and best practices.
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
- Experience managing freelance writers and working with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in using content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress.
- Analytical skills and experience using data to inform content decisions.
- Must be a highly motivated and self-directed individual with the ability to work independently in a REMOTE environment.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, essential for success in a distributed team.
Technical Requirements
As a fully REMOTE role, the following technical requirements are essential:
- Dedicated home office space free from distractions.
- Reliable high-speed internet connection (minimum 50 Mbps download / 10 Mbps upload).

- Ability to work during core business hours, accommodating overlap with US time zones.

Compensation & Benefits
The annual salary range for this fully REMOTE position is $90,000 - $120,000, commensurate with experience and location within the USA.
