Position Summary Brainly is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Lead Data Analyst - Statistical Analysis to join our growing Data & Analytics team. As a Lead Data Analyst, you will be responsible for leading statistical analyses, designing experiments, and providing data-driven insights to support strategic decision-making across the company. This is a fully remote position, offering the opportunity to work from anywhere in the USA. Key Responsibilities Lead the design and execution of statistical analyses, including A/B testing, regression analysis, and predictive modeling, to understand user behavior and identify opportunities for improvement. Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and develop data-driven strategies. Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track key metrics and communicate insights to stakeholders. Design and analyze experiments to evaluate the impact of new features and initiatives. Mentor and coach other data analysts, providing guidance on statistical methodologies and best practices. Identify and resolve data quality issues, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of data used for analysis. Communicate complex findings and insights to both technical and non-technical audiences. Stay up-to-date on the latest trends and technologies in data analysis and statistical modeling. Participate in virtual team meetings and collaborate effectively with remote colleagues using tools such as Slack, Zoom, and Google Workspace. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field. Master's degree preferred. 5+ years of experience in data analysis, with a focus on statistical modeling and experimentation. Strong proficiency in statistical software packages such as R or Python (with libraries like Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn). Experience with SQL and relational databases. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and concise manner. Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment. Experience with A/B testing methodologies and tools. Demonstrated ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Technical Requirements To be successful in this remote role, you will need: A dedicated home office space free from distractions. A reliable high-speed internet connection (minimum 50 Mbps download speed). A personal computer with a modern operating system (Windows 10 or macOS 10.15 or later). A webcam and microphone for virtual meetings. While we offer flexible working hours, occasional meetings may require availability during Eastern Time Zone (ET) business hours. Desired Skills Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Looker. Experience working in the education technology industry. Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms such as AWS or Google Cloud. Experience with machine learning techniques. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Compensation & Benefits The annual salary range for this remote position is $120,000 - $150,000, commensurate with experience.
