Position Summary Sullivan & Cromwell is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Data Statistical Analyst to join our Data Engineering team. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to work from anywhere in the USA. As a Data Statistical Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing complex datasets, developing statistical models, and providing actionable insights to support strategic decision-making across the firm. You will collaborate with data engineers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to identify opportunities to improve our data infrastructure and analytical capabilities. Key Responsibilities Conduct in-depth statistical analysis of large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies. Develop and implement statistical models for forecasting, predictive analytics, and data mining. Design and execute A/B tests and other experiments to evaluate the effectiveness of different strategies. Prepare and present reports and visualizations that effectively communicate complex data insights to non-technical audiences. Collaborate with data engineers to ensure data quality and accessibility. Work with business analysts to understand business requirements and translate them into data analysis plans. Contribute to the development of data governance policies and procedures. Stay up-to-date on the latest trends and technologies in data science and statistical analysis. Participate in virtual team meetings and collaborate with colleagues using remote communication tools. Required Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field. Minimum of 3 years of experience in data analysis and statistical modeling. Strong understanding of statistical concepts and techniques, including regression analysis, hypothesis testing, and time series analysis. Proficiency in statistical programming languages such as R or Python. Experience working with large datasets and databases. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team. Must be able to work remotely from anywhere in the United States. Proven experience working effectively in a remote environment. Technical Requirements To be successful in this remote role, you will need to meet the following technical requirements: A dedicated home office space free from distractions. Compensation & Benefits The annual salary range for this fully remote Data Statistical Analyst position is $90,000 - $140,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
