Position Summary

Polaris is seeking a skilled Web Developer to join our remote team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance web applications and databases. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in server-side programming and database management, along with a passion for solving complex technical challenges. This is a full-time remote position with competitive compensation and benefits.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable web applications using server-side technologies such as Node.js and Python.
• Design, implement, and optimize database solutions using SQL and MongoDB.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Debug and resolve technical issues across the development lifecycle.

Required Qualifications

• 1 to 11 years of professional experience in web development.
• Proficiency in server-side programming languages such as Node.js or Python.
• Strong experience with database management systems, including SQL and MongoDB.
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and web services.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment while meeting deadlines.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Required Education

Others: While a formal degree is not mandatory, relevant certifications or equivalent practical experience in web development will be considered.

Desired Skills

• Experience with front-end technologies such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

Compensation & Benefits

Polaris offers a competitive salary range of $62,000 to $125,000 annually, commensurate with experience. In addition, we provide:
