Position Summary We are seeking a highly skilled Urban Planner to join our remote team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in environmental regulations, ecosystem analysis, and sustainability planning. This role involves conducting environmental impact assessments, developing sustainable urban development strategies, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive environmental impact assessments for urban development projects. Analyze ecosystems and propose sustainable land-use solutions. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal environmental regulations. Develop and implement sustainability plans for urban infrastructure projects. Collaborate with architects, engineers, and policymakers to integrate sustainable practices. Manage project timelines, budgets, and stakeholder communications. Prepare detailed reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders. Required Qualifications 0 to 8 years of experience in urban planning, environmental consulting, or a related field. Proficiency in conducting environmental impact assessments and ecosystem analysis. Strong knowledge of sustainability planning and environmental regulations. Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities. Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to work independently in a remote setting while collaborating with a distributed team. Required Education A PhD in Urban Planning, Environmental Science, Sustainability, or a closely related field is required. Desired Skills Experience with GIS software and spatial analysis tools. Familiarity with green building certifications (e.g., LEED). Background in financial modeling for sustainable development projects. Strong research capabilities with a track record of published work. Compensation & Benefits L&T Finance Holdings offers a competitive salary range of $55,000 to $88,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
