Position Summary The Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) at Amazon.com will provide high-quality, patient-centered care with a focus on geriatric populations. This remote role involves conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in geriatric healthcare and a passion for delivering compassionate, evidence-based care. Key Responsibilities Perform comprehensive geriatric assessments, including medical history reviews and physical examinations. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for elderly patients, incorporating pharmacological and non-pharmacological interventions. Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal health outcomes. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care. Educate patients and families on disease prevention, medication management, and healthy lifestyle choices. Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic health records (EHR) in compliance with regulatory standards. Participate in telehealth consultations to provide remote care to patients. Required Qualifications Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in the state of practice. Board certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP). 3 to 11 years of clinical experience, with a focus on geriatric healthcare. Proficiency in geriatric assessment, treatment, and pharmacology. Strong interpersonal and communication skills for patient and team interactions. Ability to work independently in a remote setting while maintaining high standards of care. Required Education A Post Graduate Degree in Nursing (Master’s or Doctorate) from an accredited institution is required. Specialization or additional certification in geriatric care is highly preferred. Desired Skills Experience with telehealth platforms and remote patient monitoring. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems. Knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid guidelines for geriatric care. Bilingual or multilingual abilities to serve diverse patient populations. Compensation & Benefits Amazon.com offers a competitive salary range of $56,000 to $107,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
