UX/UI Designer at Nationwide – Remote Job Position

Position Summary Nationwide is seeking a talented UX/UI Designer to join our remote team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing intuitive, user-friendly digital experiences that align with our brand and business objectives. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and marketers, to create seamless and engaging interfaces for our customers. The ideal candidate is passionate about user-centered design and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Key Responsibilities Design wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups using industry-standard tools such as Sketch or Adobe XD. Conduct usability testing and user research to gather insights and validate design decisions. Develop information architecture and user flows to optimize navigation and usability. Collaborate with developers to ensure designs are implemented accurately and efficiently. Advocate for user-centered design principles across all stages of the product development lifecycle. Iterate on designs based on feedback, analytics, and evolving business requirements. Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in UX/UI design. Required Qualifications 1 to 15 years of professional experience in UX/UI design. Proficiency in UX/UI design tools such as Sketch, Adobe XD, Figma, or similar. Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies. Experience with wireframing, prototyping, and usability testing. Ability to create clear information architecture and intuitive user flows. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Portfolio showcasing relevant design work and problem-solving skills. Required Education A Bachelor’s Degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or a related field is required. Desired Skills Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments. Familiarity with front-end development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript). Knowledge of accessibility standards and inclusive design practices. Experience designing for financial services or insurance industries. Compensation & Benefits Nationwide offers a competitive salary range of $57,000 to $99,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
