Position Summary

Ameren is seeking a talented UI Developer to join our remote team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing intuitive, visually appealing user interfaces that enhance the digital experience for our customers. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into functional and engaging designs, ensuring usability and accessibility across all platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop responsive user interfaces for web and mobile applications.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups using tools like Sketch or Figma.
• Conduct usability testing and gather feedback to refine designs.
• Collaborate with UX designers, developers, and product managers to ensure seamless implementation of designs.
• Ensure UI designs align with Ameren’s brand guidelines and accessibility standards.
• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in UI/UX design.
• Optimize designs for performance, scalability, and cross-browser compatibility.

Required Qualifications

• 3 to 13 years of experience in UI development or UX/UI design.
• Proficiency in user experience (UX) design and user interface (UI) design.
• Strong skills in wireframing and prototyping.
• Experience conducting usability testing.
• Expertise in design tools such as Sketch or Figma.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating effectively with distributed teams.

Required Education

Others: A degree in Design, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory. Equivalent professional experience will be considered.

Desired Skills

• Experience with front-end development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
• Familiarity with design systems and component libraries.
• Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG).
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Compensation & Benefits

Ameren offers a competitive compensation package, with a salary range of $64,000 to $119,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
