As part of our healthcare team in Brampton, Ontario, we are currently seeking a dedicated Radiology Technologist to join our dynamic and patient-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities For Radiology Technologist:
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures such as X-rays, MRIs, CT scans, and ultrasounds
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment to ensure quality diagnostic images
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to provide accurate and timely results
- Maintain patient records and uphold confidentiality of medical information
- Adhere to all regulatory standards and safety protocols in the radiology department
Required Qualifications:
- Completion of a recognized Radiology Technologist program
- Registration with the College of Medical Radiation Technologists of Ontario (CMRTO)
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a healthcare setting
- Strong knowledge of radiology procedures and equipment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Desired Skills:
- Experience with PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System)
- Knowledge of radiation safety protocols and practices
- Proficiency in using electronic medical record systems
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Compensation & Benefits:
The annual salary range for the Radiology Technologist position at London Drugs in Brampton, Ontario, is between $60,000 to $80,000 CAD, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
