Position Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Account Manager to join our remote team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing key client relationships, driving sales strategies, and ensuring customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in account management, negotiation, and closing deals within the aerospace or defense sectors. This position offers the flexibility of remote work while contributing to Lockheed Martin's mission of delivering world-class solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic account plans to drive revenue growth and expand customer relationships.
- Identify new business opportunities and collaborate with internal teams to deliver tailored solutions.
- Lead negotiations, contract discussions, and closing deals with clients.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to inform sales strategies.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics to leadership.
Required Qualifications
- 4 to 8 years of experience in account management, sales, or business development, preferably in aerospace, defense, or related industries.
- Demonstrated expertise in sales strategy, negotiation, and closing skills.
- Strong ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.
Required Education
Other relevant degrees or certifications in business, sales, or a related field are acceptable. Equivalent professional experience will also be considered.
Desired Skills
- Experience working with government or defense sector clients.
- Familiarity with CRM software and sales analytics tools.
- Knowledge of aerospace and defense industry regulations and compliance standards.
- Ability to travel occasionally for client meetings or industry events.
Compensation & Benefits
Lockheed Martin offers a competitive compensation package, with a salary range of $58,000 to $127,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
