Key Responsibilities For Accounts Payable Specialist:
- Process vendor invoices accurately and efficiently within established timelines
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner
- Prepare and process payments to vendors while ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures
- Assist in month-end closing activities related to accounts payable
- Maintain accurate and organized financial records and documentation
- Communicate effectively with vendors and internal stakeholders to address inquiries and resolve issues promptly

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 2+ years of experience in accounts payable or related finance role
- Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of accounting principles and practices

Desired Skills:
- Experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle
- Certification in Accounts Payable (e.g., APM)

Compensation & Benefits:
The annual salary range for the Accounts Payable Specialist position at Grant Thornton in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania is $45,000 - $55,000, commensurate with experience.
