Key Responsibilities For Accounts Receivable Specialist:
- Manage the accounts receivable process, including invoicing, posting payments, and collections activities
- Reconcile customer accounts and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner
- Generate financial reports related to accounts receivable and provide insights to management
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and external customers to address billing inquiries and resolve issues promptly
- Collaborate with the finance team to ensure accurate and up-to-date financial records
- Assist with month-end close processes and support audits as needed
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 2+ years of experience in accounts receivable or a similar finance role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with accounting software
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation
- Knowledge of accounting principles and practices
Desired Skills:
- Experience with NetSuite or other ERP systems
- Certification in Accounts Receivable or related field
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities
