Key Responsibilities for Administrative Assistant:
- Provide administrative support to faculty, staff, and students within the department
- Manage calendars, schedule appointments, and coordinate meetings and events
- Prepare correspondence, reports, and presentations using Microsoft Office suite
- Maintain electronic and paper filing systems to ensure efficient document management
- Assist with budget tracking, expense reporting, and procurement processes

- Coordinate travel arrangements and process travel reimbursements
- Assist with special projects and initiatives as needed

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Office Management, or related field
- Proven experience as an administrative assistant or in a similar role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with strong attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks, work independently, and handle confidential information with discretion

- Experience working in a university or academic setting
- Knowledge of database management and data entry
- Familiarity with financial processes such as budget monitoring and reconciliation
