Position Summary Reed Smith is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Analytics Business Intelligence Analyst to join our Business Intelligence team. This is a fully remote position, offering the opportunity to work from anywhere in the United States. As an Analytics Business Intelligence Analyst, you will play a crucial role in transforming data into actionable insights to drive strategic decision-making across the firm. You will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing our business intelligence solutions, dashboards, and reports to support various business functions. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using various BI tools such as Power BI. Gather and analyze data from multiple sources to identify trends, patterns, and insights. Collaborate with stakeholders across different departments to understand their data needs and translate them into effective BI solutions. Develop and maintain data models and ETL processes to ensure data quality and accuracy. Perform ad-hoc data analysis and reporting to support business initiatives. Provide training and support to end-users on how to effectively utilize BI tools and dashboards. Participate in the development and implementation of data governance policies and procedures. Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in business intelligence and data analytics. Actively participate in virtual team meetings and contribute to a collaborative remote work environment. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field. 3+ years of experience as a Business Intelligence Analyst, Data Analyst, or similar role. Proven experience with data visualization tools, such as Power BI. Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server). Experience with ETL processes and data warehousing concepts. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with remote teams. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote work environment. Must reside in the United States. Technical Requirements To be successful in this remote role, you will need: A dedicated home office space free from distractions. A reliable high-speed internet connection (minimum 50 Mbps download/10 Mbps upload). A personal computer with up-to-date operating system and sufficient processing power to run required software. Headset with microphone for virtual meetings. Ability to work during standard business hours in the Eastern Time Zone. Reed Smith provides a one-time stipend for home office equipment upon successful completion of the onboarding process. Desired Skills Experience with other BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Qlik). Experience with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS). Knowledge of statistical modeling techniques. Experience with Python or R for data analysis. Familiarity with legal industry data and metrics. Strong project management skills. Compensation & Benefits The annual salary range for this remote Analytics Business Intelligence Analyst position is $85,000 - $115,000, commensurate with experience.
