Position Summary

Paccar is seeking a skilled Architect to join our remote team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and overseeing sustainable building projects that align with Paccar's commitment to environmental stewardship and energy efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sustainable design principles, LEED certification, and green building materials, with the ability to assess and minimize environmental impact throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement sustainable design strategies for new and existing Paccar facilities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure projects meet energy efficiency and environmental standards.
  • Conduct environmental impact assessments and recommend mitigation strategies.
  • Prepare detailed architectural drawings, specifications, and documentation in compliance with LEED and other green building certifications.
  • Research and integrate innovative green building materials and technologies into designs.
  • Review and approve contractor submissions to ensure adherence to sustainable design principles.
  • Provide technical guidance on sustainable practices to internal stakeholders and external partners.

Required Qualifications

  • 3 to 15 years of professional experience in architecture, with a focus on sustainable design.
  • Proven expertise in energy efficiency, LEED certification, and green building materials.
  • Strong knowledge of environmental impact assessment methodologies.
  • Proficiency in architectural design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp).
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a remote work environment.

Required Education

A Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Environmental Design, or a related field is required. Advanced degrees or additional certifications in sustainable design are a plus.

Desired Skills

  • Experience with Building Information Modeling (BIM) software.
  • Familiarity with renewable energy systems and net-zero building design.
  • Knowledge of local and international green building codes and standards.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Compensation & Benefits

Paccar offers a competitive salary range of $62,000 to $115,000 annually, commensurate with experience. In addition, employees enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, professional development opportunities, and flexible work arrangements.
