Key Responsibilities for Assistant Store Manager:
- Support the Store Manager in overseeing daily operations, including staff supervision, customer service, and inventory management
- Assist in recruiting, training, and developing a high-performing team

- Drive sales and profitability through effective merchandising and promotional strategies

Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of retail management experience, preferably in a grocery or similar environment
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and coach team members
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and basic knowledge of inventory management systems
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
Desired Skills:
- Post-secondary education in business administration or a related field
- Bilingual proficiency in English and French
- Experience with budgeting and financial analysis
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and compliance standards
- Proven track record of driving sales and achieving targets
Compensation & Benefits:
The annual salary range for the Assistant Store Manager position at Loblaw Companies in Oakville, Ontario, Canada is between $50,000 to $60,000 CAD, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
