Key Responsibilities for Assistant Store Manager:
- Assist the Store Manager in overseeing daily operations and staff management
- Ensure the store meets sales targets and maintains high levels of customer satisfaction
- Supervise and train store staff, providing guidance and support as needed
- Monitor inventory levels, conduct stock replenishment, and manage product displays
- Implement and enforce company policies and procedures to uphold standards

Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of retail management experience, preferably in a grocery or pharmacy setting

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and basic computer skills
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends

- Experience with budget management and financial reporting
- Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software

Compensation & Benefits:
The annual salary range for the Assistant Store Manager position at Metro Inc. in Toronto, Ontario, Canada is between $45,000 to $55,000 CAD, commensurate with experience.
