Key Responsibilities for Carpenter:
- Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and wallboard
- Measure, cut, and shape materials according to specifications
- Install structures and fixtures such as windows, doors, cabinets, and staircases
- Inspect and replace damaged framework or other structures
- Follow blueprints and building plans to meet the needs of clients
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Carpenter in the construction industry
- NVQ Level 2 or equivalent qualification in Carpentry
- Knowledge of woodworking tools and techniques
- Understanding of health and safety regulations
- Ability to interpret technical documents and drawings accurately
