Key Responsibilities for Case Worker:

Required Qualifications:
- A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Law, or a related field.
- Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within a government or regulatory environment.
- In-depth knowledge of tax laws, regulations, and compliance procedures.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data accurately.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to engage with diverse stakeholders effectively.
Desired Skills:
- Professional qualifications such as ACCA, CTA, or equivalent would be advantageous.
- Experience using tax software and databases for data analysis and reporting.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in work output.
- Knowledge of legal procedures and enforcement actions related to tax investigations.
Compensation & Benefits:
The annual salary range for the Case Worker position at HM Revenue & Customs in Bristol, South West England, is between £25,000 and £35,000, depending on qualifications and experience.
