Key Responsibilities for Civil Engineer:
- Undertake site investigations and surveys to determine project feasibility
- Prepare detailed designs and drawings for construction projects, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards
- Manage and oversee construction activities, including supervising contractors and ensuring quality control
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project success
- Conduct risk assessments and implement health and safety measures on-site
- Monitor project progress, budget, and timelines, reporting to senior management as required
Required Qualifications:
- Degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Chartered Engineer status (CEng) preferred
- Proven experience in civil engineering, preferably within the construction industry
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and regulations
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other relevant software
- Excellent project management and problem-solving skills
Desired Skills:
- Experience with BIM (Building Information Modelling)
- Familiarity with sustainable construction practices
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Compensation & Benefits:
Salary Range: £30,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications
