Key Responsibilities for Compliance Accountant:
- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Prepare financial reports and documentation for audits and regulatory inspections.
- Monitor changes in accounting standards and regulations to ensure adherence.
- Collaborate with internal teams to address compliance issues and implement corrective actions.
- Assist in developing and maintaining compliance policies and procedures.
- Support external audits and regulatory examinations as needed.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- CPA certification or progress towards certification preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or auditing, preferably in a compliance role.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Excellent analytical skills with keen attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
Desired Skills:
- Experience with SOX compliance and internal controls.
- Knowledge of tax regulations and reporting requirements.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Compensation & Benefits:
The annual salary range for the Compliance Accountant position at ADP in Newark, New Jersey is $65,000 to $85,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
