Key Responsibilities For Compliance Analyst:
- Conduct thorough compliance reviews to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies
- Monitor and analyze changes in laws and regulations affecting the financial industry
- Develop and implement compliance procedures and controls to mitigate risks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address compliance issues and provide guidance on best practices
- Prepare reports and documentation for internal and external audits
- Assist in training employees on compliance protocols and procedures
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Law, or related field
- 2+ years of experience in compliance, risk management, or regulatory affairs within the banking or financial services sector
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations such as AML, KYC, and GDPR
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex regulatory requirements
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Effective communication skills to interact with stakeholders at all levels
Desired Skills:
- Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM) or similar certification
- Experience working with compliance software and tools
- Knowledge of international financial regulations and sanctions programs
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic work environment
- Proven track record of implementing compliance programs successfully
Compensation & Benefits:
The annual salary range for the Compliance Analyst position at Stripe in Chicago, Illinois is $70,000 - $90,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
