Key Responsibilities for Consolidations Accountant:
- Prepare and analyze financial statements for consolidation purposes
- Coordinate with subsidiary entities to gather financial data for consolidation
- Perform intercompany eliminations and reconciliations
- Assist in the implementation of new accounting standards related to consolidations
- Support external audit processes related to consolidations
- Provide insights and recommendations to improve the consolidation process efficiency

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- CPA certification or in progress
- 3+ years of experience in accounting, with a focus on consolidations
- Strong understanding of US GAAP and financial reporting standards
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills

Desired Skills:
- Experience with consolidation software (e.g., Hyperion, SAP BPC)
- Knowledge of SEC reporting requirements
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently
- Continuous improvement mindset to streamline processes
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively

Compensation & Benefits:
The annual salary range for the Consolidations Accountant position at CLA in Hartford, Connecticut is $65,000 - $85,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
