Key Responsibilities for Construction Manager:
- Oversee and manage construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring quality, budget, and schedule adherence
- Coordinate and collaborate with project stakeholders including architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors
- Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets
- Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and addressing any issues or risks
- Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards
- Lead and supervise construction teams, providing guidance and support as needed
- Conduct regular site visits to inspect work progress and quality

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field
- Proven experience as a Construction Manager or similar role in the construction industry
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, methods, and materials
- Excellent project management and leadership skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively
- Familiarity with construction software and tools

Desired Skills:
- Professional certification (e.g., PMP, P.Eng) is an asset
- Experience working on LEED-certified projects
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to negotiate and resolve conflicts effectively
- Knowledge of sustainable construction practices

Compensation & Benefits:
The annual salary range for the Construction Manager position at WSP Global in Abbotsford, British Columbia, Canada is between $90,000 to $120,000 CAD, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
