Key Responsibilities For Cost Accountant:
- Develop and maintain cost accounting processes and procedures to ensure accurate financial reporting
- Analyze costs, pricing, variable contributions, sales results, and the company's overall financial performance
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual cost forecasts and budgets
- Conduct variance analysis to identify discrepancies and recommend corrective actions

- Assist in financial audits and compliance activities
- Provide insights and recommendations to management for strategic decision-making
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Proven experience as a Cost Accountant or in a similar role within the banking or financial services industry
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and cost accounting methodologies
- Proficiency in financial analysis and reporting
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP software
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Desired Skills:
- CPA or CMA certification is a plus
- Experience with cost accounting in a banking environment
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements in the financial industry
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges
Compensation & Benefits:
The annual salary range for the Cost Accountant position at TD Bank in Seattle, Washington is $65,000 - $85,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
