Key Responsibilities for Curriculum Developer:
- Collaborate with faculty members to design, develop, and update curriculum materials for various courses and programs
- Conduct research to ensure curriculum content is current, relevant, and aligned with industry standards
- Create engaging learning materials, including lesson plans, assessments, and multimedia resources
- Review and revise existing curriculum to enhance student learning outcomes and program effectiveness

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Curriculum Development, Instructional Design, or a related field
- Proven experience in curriculum development within the education sector
- Strong knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities effectively
- Proficiency in educational technology tools and software applications
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
Desired Skills:
- Master's degree in Education or related field
- Experience with competency-based education and assessment practices
- Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and e-learning platforms
- Knowledge of accessibility standards and inclusive design principles in curriculum development
- Experience in developing online and blended learning programs
Compensation & Benefits:
The annual salary range for the Curriculum Developer position at George Brown College in Brampton, Ontario, Canada is between $60,000 to $80,000 CAD, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
