Key Responsibilities for Customs Broker:

Required Qualifications:
- Certified Customs Broker designation from the Canadian Society of Customs Brokers.

- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients, carriers, and government agencies.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in document preparation and data entry.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Desired Skills:
- Experience using customs brokerage software for electronic data interchange (EDI) submissions.
- Familiarity with international trade agreements and preferential trade programs.
- Fluency in additional languages, such as French or Spanish, to facilitate communication with international clients.
- Knowledge of transportation and logistics operations to provide comprehensive customs brokerage services.

Compensation & Benefits:
