Key Responsibilities for Cybersecurity Analyst:
- Conduct regular security assessments to identify vulnerabilities and threats within OpenText's systems and networks
- Implement and monitor security measures to protect against cyber attacks and unauthorized access
- Analyze security incidents and respond promptly to mitigate risks and minimize impact
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with cybersecurity policies and procedures
- Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity trends and best practices to enhance OpenText's security posture

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Proven experience in cybersecurity analysis, incident response, and risk management
- Strong knowledge of network security, encryption technologies, and security protocols
- Proficiency in using cybersecurity tools such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, and vulnerability scanners
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISA, or CEH are preferred

Desired Skills:
- Experience with cloud security and knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure)
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements such as GDPR, PIPEDA, and industry-specific standards
- Ability to conduct penetration testing and security assessments independently
- Strong communication skills to effectively communicate security risks and recommendations to stakeholders

Compensation & Benefits:
The annual salary range for the Cybersecurity Analyst position at OpenText in Abbotsford, British Columbia, Canada is between $80,000 to $100,000 CAD, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
