Position Summary

Talkspace is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Data Analytics Manager specializing in Predictive Modeling to join our growing Data & Analytics team. As a Data Analytics Manager - Predictive Modeling, you will be responsible for developing and deploying predictive models that drive critical business decisions across various departments, including marketing, product, and operations. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to work from anywhere within the United States. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities, define requirements, and deliver actionable insights that improve our member experience and business performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and implementation of predictive models using statistical techniques, machine learning algorithms, and data mining methodologies.
  • Partner with stakeholders across the organization to understand business problems and translate them into analytical solutions.
  • Manage the entire model development lifecycle, including data collection, data preparation, feature engineering, model training, model evaluation, and model deployment.
  • Monitor and evaluate model performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement model retraining and recalibration strategies.
  • Communicate complex analytical findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Mentor and guide junior data scientists and analysts on the team.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in predictive modeling and machine learning techniques.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of all models and analytical processes.
  • Collaborate with data engineering to ensure data quality and availability for modeling purposes.
  • Participate in virtual team meetings and contribute to a positive and collaborative remote work environment.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in data analytics, with a focus on predictive modeling.
  • Proven ability to develop and deploy predictive models that have a measurable impact on business outcomes.
  • Strong proficiency in statistical programming languages such as R or Python.
  • Experience with machine learning libraries such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and concisely.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Must reside in the United States.

Technical Requirements

As a fully remote employee, you are responsible for providing a suitable home office environment that supports productivity and collaboration. This includes:

  • A dedicated workspace free from distractions.
  • A reliable high-speed internet connection with a minimum upload/download speed of 25 Mbps.
  • A personal computer with sufficient processing power and memory to run data analytics software.
  • A webcam and microphone for virtual meetings.
  • The ability to work during core business hours within the Eastern Time Zone (ET).

Desired Skills

  • Experience with cloud-based data platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Experience with A/B testing and causal inference.
  • Experience in the healthcare industry, particularly in mental healthcare.
  • Familiarity with SQL and database management.
  • Experience with remote collaboration tools such as Slack, Zoom, and Google Workspace.

Compensation & Benefits

The annual salary range for this position is $130,000 - $160,000, commensurate with experience and location. Talkspace offers a comprehensive benefits package, including:
