Key Responsibilities for Dental Nurse:
- Assisting the dentist during various treatment procedures
- Ensuring the comfort of patients throughout their dental visit
- Maintaining and sterilising dental instruments and equipment
- Providing chair-side support to the dentist during patient examinations and treatments
- Taking and processing X-rays
- Recording patient notes and medical histories
- Educating patients on oral hygiene and postoperative care
- Managing stock control of dental materials
- Following infection control procedures and protocols
- Liaising with suppliers and laboratory technicians
Required Qualifications:
- GDC registration as a Dental Nurse
- Valid and up-to-date DBS check
- Completion of a recognised dental nursing course
- Knowledge of current dental practices and procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
Desired Skills:
- Experience with dental software systems
- Additional qualifications in dental radiography
- First aid certification
- Experience in customer service or patient care roles
- Fluency in languages other than English
Compensation & Benefits:
