Key Responsibilities For DevOps Engineer:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement DevOps solutions that meet business requirements.
- Implement automation tools and frameworks for continuous integration, continuous deployment, and infrastructure as code.
- Monitor and maintain the production environment, ensuring high availability, scalability, and performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in all environments, from development to production.
- Implement best practices for security, compliance, and efficiency in the DevOps process.
- Participate in on-call rotation to provide support outside of normal working hours when necessary.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience working as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Proficiency in scripting languages like Bash, Python, or Ruby.
- Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
Desired Skills:
- Certification in DevOps or relevant cloud technologies.
- Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
- Knowledge of monitoring tools such as Nagios, Prometheus, or ELK stack.
- Understanding of networking concepts and security protocols.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
Compensation & Benefits:
The annual salary range for the DevOps Engineer position at Accenture UK in Belfast, Northern Ireland, is between £40,000 to £55,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
