Key Responsibilities For Dietitian:

- Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Dietitian in a healthcare setting.
- In-depth knowledge of nutritional principles, dietary guidelines, and meal planning.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals.

Desired Skills:
- Master's degree in Nutrition or related field.
- Certification in a specialized area of dietetics (e.g., sports nutrition, pediatric nutrition).
- Experience with electronic health record systems for documenting patient care.
- Ability to conduct research and contribute to academic publications in the field of nutrition.
- Bilingual proficiency in French and English for better patient engagement in a diverse community.

Compensation & Benefits:
The annual salary range for the Dietitian position at the Ontario Ministry of Health in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada, is $60,000 to $80,000 CAD, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
