Key Responsibilities for Early Childhood Educator:
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum and activities for young children

Required Qualifications:

- Certification as an Early Childhood Educator (ECE) in accordance with provincial regulations
- Clear criminal record check and vulnerable sector screening
- Strong understanding of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Desired Skills:
- Experience working in a childcare or educational setting
- Knowledge of diverse teaching methodologies and learning styles
- First Aid and CPR certification
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Proficiency in both English and French languages (an asset)
Compensation & Benefits:
The University of Alberta offers a competitive annual salary range for Early Childhood Educators in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, ranging from $40,000 to $50,000 CAD, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
