Position Summary

Mahindra & Mahindra is seeking a highly skilled Environmental Consultant to join our remote team. This role will focus on providing expert guidance in sustainability consulting, environmental policy development, and sustainable practices to clients across various industries. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of green building standards, environmental regulations, and sustainability assessments, ensuring Mahindra & Mahindra continues to lead in eco-conscious business solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive sustainability assessments and audits for clients to identify areas for improvement.
• Develop and implement sustainable practices tailored to client needs, ensuring compliance with environmental policies and regulations.
• Advise on green building standards, energy efficiency, and waste reduction strategies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate sustainability into business operations and client projects.
• Prepare detailed reports and presentations to communicate findings, recommendations, and progress to stakeholders.
• Stay updated on emerging environmental trends, regulations, and technologies to provide cutting-edge solutions.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through clear communication and expert consultation.

Required Qualifications

• 1 to 8 years of experience in environmental consulting, sustainability assessments, or related fields.
• Proven expertise in sustainable practices, green building standards, and environmental policy development.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for client interactions and report preparation.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting while collaborating effectively with global teams.

Required Education

A PhD in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Engineering, or a closely related field is required for this position.

Desired Skills

• Experience with life cycle assessments (LCA) and carbon footprint analysis.
• Familiarity with international sustainability frameworks such as LEED, BREEAM, or ISO 14001.
• Project management skills to oversee multiple initiatives simultaneously.
• Proficiency in sustainability software tools and data visualization platforms.

Compensation & Benefits

Mahindra & Mahindra offers a competitive salary range of $57,000 to $126,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
