Event Planner at Charter Communications – Remote Job Position

Position Summary Charter Communications is seeking a highly organized and creative Event Planner to join our team in a remote capacity. This role will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing a variety of corporate events, from internal meetings to large-scale conferences. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong project management skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders to deliver seamless and memorable events. Key Responsibilities Plan and execute corporate events, including conferences, trade shows, team-building activities, and executive meetings. Coordinate with vendors, venues, and internal teams to ensure all event logistics are handled efficiently. Manage event budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness while maintaining high-quality standards. Develop and implement marketing and promotional strategies to maximize event attendance and engagement. Oversee event timelines, troubleshoot issues, and ensure smooth execution on the day of the event. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align event objectives with company goals. Evaluate event success through attendee feedback and post-event analysis. Required Qualifications 0 to 10 years of experience in event planning or a related field. Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines. Strong vendor coordination and negotiation skills. Excellent budget management and financial tracking abilities. Experience in marketing and promotion for events. Exceptional organizational and logistical planning skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Required Education A PhD in Event Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field is required. Desired Skills Experience with virtual and hybrid event platforms. Proficiency in event management software (e.g., Cvent, Eventbrite). Creative problem-solving and adaptability in fast-paced environments. Strong networking and relationship-building skills. Compensation & Benefits Charter Communications offers a competitive salary range of $60,000 to $103,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
