Key Responsibilities for Finance Operations Lead:
- Oversee and manage day-to-day finance operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in financial processes
- Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with regulations
- Lead a team of finance professionals, providing guidance, training, and support to drive performance and achieve departmental goals
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize financial systems and processes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions
- Prepare financial reports, budgets, and forecasts to support strategic decision-making and drive business growth
- Monitor cash flow, financial performance, and key financial metrics, identifying trends and recommending actions to management
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CPA certification preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in finance operations, accounting, or a similar role
- Strong knowledge of financial principles, regulations, and best practices
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and mentor a team
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail
- Proficiency in financial software and advanced MS Excel skills
Desired Skills:
- Experience working in a public accounting firm or professional services environment
- Knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite

Compensation & Benefits:
The annual salary range for the Finance Operations Lead position at BDO USA in Anchorage, Alaska is $90,000 - $120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
