Key Responsibilities For Fixed Assets Accountant:
- Manage the fixed assets accounting process, including asset acquisition, tracking, depreciation, and disposal
- Ensure accurate and timely recording of fixed asset transactions in compliance with accounting standards and company policies
- Conduct regular audits of fixed assets to verify accuracy and completeness of records
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial reporting requirements related to fixed assets
- Assist in the development and implementation of internal controls related to fixed assets
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- CPA or progress towards CPA certification preferred
- 3+ years of experience in fixed assets accounting or related role
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP and experience with fixed asset accounting software
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
Desired Skills:
- Experience with SAP or other enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems
- Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and vlookup functions
- Knowledge of tax regulations related to fixed assets
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with stakeholders
Compensation & Benefits:
The Fixed Assets Accountant position at Intuit in Hartford, Connecticut offers a competitive annual salary range of $65,000 to $80,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
