Key Responsibilities For Forklift Driver:
- Operating forklifts to load and unload goods from vehicles or storage areas
- Moving goods to designated areas within the warehouse or distribution centre
- Conducting routine pre and post-operational checks on forklift equipment
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations while handling goods
- Assisting with inventory management and stock control tasks as required
- Collaborating with warehouse staff to ensure efficient and timely completion of tasks

Required Qualifications:
- Valid Forklift Truck Operator Licence (RTITB or equivalent)
- Proven experience in operating forklifts in a warehouse or logistics environment
- Good understanding of health and safety regulations related to forklift operations
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Physical fitness and ability to lift heavy objects when necessary

Desired Skills:
- Experience with different types of forklifts, such as counterbalance or reach trucks
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems for tracking inventory
- Effective communication skills to interact with colleagues and supervisors
- Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings and weekends if required

Compensation & Benefits:
- Annual salary range: £20,000 - £25,000, depending on experience and qualifications
