Key Responsibilities For FP&A Analyst (Financial Planning & Analysis):
- Develop and maintain financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning processes.
- Analyze financial data, performance metrics, and key performance indicators to provide insights and recommendations to senior management.
- Prepare management reports and presentations to communicate financial analysis findings effectively.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and enhance financial performance.
- Assist in the development of annual operating plans and financial targets based on business objectives.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis within the banking or finance industry.
- Proficiency in financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting techniques.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and trends.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to convey financial information clearly.

Desired Skills:
- Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or MBA.
- Professional certification such as CFA or CPA.
- Experience with financial systems and tools like SAP, Oracle Hyperion, or Tableau.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and modeling.

Compensation & Benefits:
The annual salary range for the FP&A Analyst position at Grant Thornton in Boise, Idaho is $60,000 - $80,000, commensurate with experience.
