Position Summary

Morrison & Foerster is seeking a talented and passionate Full Stack Blockchain Developer - Backend to join our innovative technology team. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to work from anywhere within the United States. You will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining blockchain-based solutions, focusing primarily on backend development. You will collaborate with a team of developers, designers, and product managers to build scalable, secure, and user-friendly applications that leverage the power of blockchain technology. Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement scalable and secure backend systems for blockchain applications.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
• Develop and maintain APIs for interacting with blockchain networks.
• Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate backend systems with user interfaces.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving code quality.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues in production environments.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in blockchain development.
• Contribute to the design and architecture of blockchain solutions.
• Participate in virtual team meetings and collaborate effectively with remote colleagues.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in backend software development.
• 1+ years of experience in blockchain development, specifically with backend technologies.
• Strong understanding of blockchain concepts and technologies, such as smart contracts, consensus mechanisms, and cryptography.
• Proficiency in at least one backend programming language, such as Go, Python, or Java.
• Experience with database technologies, such as PostgreSQL or MongoDB.
• Experience with API development and RESTful web services.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Proven ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines in a remote work environment.
• Must reside in the United States.

Technical Requirements

To ensure a productive and seamless remote work experience, the following technical requirements are necessary:

Compensation & Benefits

The annual salary range for this remote Full Stack Blockchain Developer - Backend position is $130,000 - $180,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to a competitive salary, Morrison & Foerster offers a comprehensive benefits package, including:
