Key Responsibilities for Fund Accountant:
- Perform daily reconciliation and analysis of fund transactions
- Prepare financial statements and reports for clients
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
- Assist in the preparation of fund performance reports
- Work closely with fund managers and clients to address inquiries and provide insights
- Participate in audits and respond to auditor queries
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives within the fund accounting team

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- CPA or actively pursuing certification is a plus
- 2+ years of experience in fund accounting or related financial roles
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial instruments
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Desired Skills:
- Experience with fund accounting software such as Advent Geneva or Investran
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements for investment funds
- Understanding of performance measurement metrics

Compensation & Benefits:
The annual salary range for the Fund Accountant position at KPMG in Seattle, Washington, is $60,000 to $80,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
