Key Responsibilities For Healthcare Policy Analyst:
- Conduct in-depth analysis of healthcare policies, regulations, and legislation impacting Cedars-Sinai's operations.
- Develop and implement strategic initiatives to ensure compliance with state and federal healthcare laws.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to assess the impact of policy changes on healthcare delivery and reimbursement.
- Prepare reports, briefs, and presentations outlining policy recommendations and implications for senior leadership.
- Monitor industry trends and best practices to inform decision-making processes at Cedars-Sinai.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Health Policy, Healthcare Administration, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in healthcare policy analysis, government affairs, or a related role.
- Strong understanding of healthcare regulations, such as HIPAA, ACA, and Medicare/Medicaid.
- Excellent research, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Desired Skills:
- Master's degree in Public Health, Health Policy, or a related discipline.
- Experience working in a hospital, healthcare system, or regulatory agency.
- Proficiency in data visualization tools and statistical analysis software.
- Project management skills with a track record of successful policy implementation.
- Knowledge of California healthcare laws and regulations.
Compensation & Benefits:
The Healthcare Policy Analyst position at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center offers a competitive annual salary range of $70,000 to $90,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
