Key Responsibilities for Housing Officer:

Required Qualifications:

- Proven experience in housing management, tenancy support, or a similar role within the public sector or housing sector.
- Sound knowledge of housing legislation, policies, and procedures in the UK.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with diverse stakeholders effectively.
- Excellent organisational skills with the capacity to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
Desired Skills:
- Professional accreditation from bodies such as the Chartered Institute of Housing (CIH) or equivalent.
- Experience in using housing management software or databases for property management.
- Knowledge of local housing market trends and challenges in Yorkshire and the Humber region.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary team environment.

Compensation & Benefits:
Salary Range: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
