Key Responsibilities for HR Administrator:
- Supporting the HR team with day-to-day administrative tasks such as maintaining employee records, processing paperwork, and handling enquiries.
- Assisting in recruitment activities including scheduling interviews, conducting background checks, and preparing job offer letters.
- Coordinating training and development programmes for employees, tracking attendance, and updating training records.
- Managing employee benefits administration, including enrolment, changes, and queries related to pensions, healthcare, and other benefits.
- Assisting in employee relations matters by documenting grievances, conducting investigations, and providing general HR support as required.
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an HR Administrator or in a similar administrative role within a fast-paced environment.
- Solid understanding of HR processes and best practices, with knowledge of employment laws and regulations in the UK.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and HR software systems for data management and reporting purposes.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise workload effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and confidentiality when handling sensitive employee information.
Desired Skills:
- CIPD qualification or working towards one would be advantageous.
- Experience in using HRIS systems for managing employee data and generating reports.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact with employees at all levels.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities.
Compensation & Benefits:
The salary range for the HR Administrator position at Tesco in Bristol, South West England, is between £20,000 to £25,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
