Position Summary
The HR Coordinator at Lennar will play a pivotal role in supporting the Human Resources department, with a primary focus on employee benefits administration, compliance, and HRIS management. This remote position requires a detail-oriented professional with strong organizational skills and the ability to communicate effectively with employees and stakeholders. The ideal candidate will ensure seamless benefits operations while adhering to company policies and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and wellness initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local benefits regulations, including ERISA, ACA, and HIPAA.
- Maintain and update employee records in the HRIS system, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Assist employees with benefits-related inquiries, providing clear and timely communication.
- Collaborate with HR and payroll teams to resolve benefits discrepancies and process enrollments.
- Prepare and distribute benefits communications, including open enrollment materials and policy updates.
- Support audits and reporting related to benefits administration and compliance.
- Assist in the implementation of new benefits programs or system enhancements.
Required Qualifications
- 5 to 10 years of experience in HR, with a focus on benefits administration and compliance.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and benefits management platforms.
- Strong knowledge of employee benefits regulations, including ERISA, ACA, and HIPAA.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proven ability to work independently in a remote environment.
Required Education
Other relevant certifications or equivalent experience in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Desired Skills
- Experience with Workday or similar HRIS platforms.
- Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS) or other HR certifications.
- Familiarity with payroll integration and benefits reconciliation.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
Compensation & Benefits
Lennar offers a competitive salary range of $60,000 to $119,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
